Ozzfest is coming back in 2027, and it is going on the road. The festival that Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne launched in 1996 has announced three one-day editions across the UK, the US and Mexico, with early tickets on sale from 10am local time on Friday 6 November 2026.
The three dates
- Saturday 10 July 2027: the National Bowl, Milton Keynes, England
- Saturday 11 September 2027: Glen Helen Amphitheater, San Bernardino, California
- Saturday 18 September 2027: Estadio GNP Seguros, Mexico City, the first Ozzfest ever held in Mexico
The first tickets are an early "Bat Ticket" sale for all three shows, with the general on-sale to follow. UK tickets are through Live Nation and Ticketmaster UK. The festival's official site is ozzfest.com. We have not seen prices published yet, so check the ticket page before you buy.
Why Milton Keynes
The UK show was meant to be a homecoming in the Midlands, at Villa Park in Birmingham, the stadium where Black Sabbath and Ozzy said goodbye in July 2025 at the Back to the Beginning concert. The organisers say the ground will not be ready for live shows this summer because of construction work, so they chose to move the festival rather than postpone it by a year. Sharon Osbourne has framed it as exactly that choice: relocate or wait.
The lineup is still a secret
No acts have been named. Andy Copping, the Live Nation booker who has long programmed Download, has said the lineups for each show are still being assembled and will be announced in the coming months.
That leaves a lot of open questions. Ozzfest has always been a hard rock and metal festival with a broad definition of both, and over the years it has launched bands as often as it has reunited them. How the three dates divide the bill between legacy acts, current metal and the Latin American audience in Mexico City is the thing to watch.
It is also the first Ozzfest since Ozzy died on 22 July 2025, weeks after that Villa Park farewell. The family and Live Nation are keeping the festival's name and spirit alive, and the 2027 poster, a horned demon swooping over a crowd and a wall of speakers, is very much in the old tradition.
