Nickelback's 11th studio album, Everything Under the Sun, is out today, 30 October 2026. It is the first record from the Canadian rock band since Get Rollin' in 2022, and the first on Virgin Music Group, which is also their first release with the label.
What it is
The band is Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger and Daniel Adair, and they have spent the gap between records on the road: the Get Rollin' tour was the fastest-selling and highest-attended of their career, as the album announcement puts it. In the announcement, Kroeger says the new album has "every side of the band on it", from songs that hit hard to songs that take chances.
We have not reviewed it here. This is a guide to what is on it, so you know where to start.
Tracklist
- Rattle the Cage (feat. John 5)
- Bones for the Crows
- I Already Know
- Leave Me Behind
- If I Don't Go
- Make Me Love You
- Chasin' Famous
- Simple Song
- Technicolor Steamboat
- Lift Somebody Up
- Bottled Dreams
- Last Night Was Fun
The singles
Four songs came out ahead of the record. "Rattle the Cage" was the lead single and arrived with a video; it is the only track with a guest, the guitarist John 5, who plays in Mötley Crüe and has a long solo catalogue. "Bones for the Crows" was the band's first new music since 2022. "Leave Me Behind" followed, and "Make Me Love You" was the most recent, premiered on BBC Radio 2 on 24 September 2026.
If you want the quickest read on where the band is now, start with the two openers, then jump to "Make Me Love You" for the other end of the range.
Context
Nickelback have been a punchline and a stadium act at once for two decades, and the band leaned into that tension in the documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback. The new record arrives without a tour announced alongside it. If dates follow, we will add them to the gig guide.
