Meek Mill turns Dream Chasers Nights into a six-date run, from Philadelphia on 24 November to Atlanta on 20 December

Meek Mill's Dream Chasers Nights is no longer just a hometown party. The Philadelphia rapper, who first announced a single "Meek Mill & Friends" night at the city's Xfinity Mobile Arena on 24 November, has now added five more dates, making it six shows across the US in just under a month.

The dates

• 24 November: Philadelphia, Xfinity Mobile Arena (the original "Meek Mill & Friends" show, already on sale)
• 29 November: Los Angeles, Hollywood Palladium
• 5 December: Boston, MGM Music Hall at Fenway
• 11 December: Baltimore, CFG Bank Arena
• 18 December: Chicago, Aragon Ballroom
• 20 December: Atlanta, Coca-Cola Roxy

The run is presented with Live Nation Urban, the promoter's hip-hop and R&B arm. No guests or support acts have been announced for any date, though the Philadelphia show carries the "& Friends" billing.

Why it matters

Dream Chasers is the name Meek Mill built his career under, as both a mixtape series and the label imprint he runs, and it is also the title of the Philadelphia nights he is now taking on the road. The rooms are a notable choice: an arena at home, then mid-sized theatres and ballrooms elsewhere, which points to a run built for a close, loud crowd rather than a stadium sprawl.

If you have followed him since the early mixtapes, you can browse more of his story on his ADMC artist page. We will update the dates if anything is added or moved.
