Pop-punk is heading south. Simple Plan, the Montreal band behind "I'm Just a Kid" and "Welcome to My Life", have announced six South American dates for May 2027 on their Bigger Than You Think! tour, with US pop-punk band All Time Low on every night.
The dates
- 6 May: Lima, Peru
- 8 May: Santiago, Chile
- 11 May: Buenos Aires, Argentina
- 13 May: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Qualistage
- 15 May: Curitiba, Brazil, Arena da Baixada
- 16 May: São Paulo, Brazil, Nubank Parque
Venues for Lima, Santiago and Buenos Aires have not been announced yet. All six shows have All Time Low in support; the announced openers include 6 Voltios and Gamepad in Lima, Estoy Bien in Santiago and Catalina Ammaturo in Buenos Aires.
The Brazilian shows
Brazil gets the biggest bill. Curitiba and São Paulo add Brazilian rock band Fresno, US band Set It Off and Di Ferrero, the NX Zero singer, alongside Supercombo, who also play Rio. That is a lineup that leans on the pop-punk generation Brazilian fans grew up on, and the Curitiba and São Paulo nights are built more like a festival day than a standard support slot.
Tickets run through Eventim in Brazil. An Itaú cardholder presale opens at 10:00 on 28 October, and general sale starts at 12:00 on Friday, 30 October. Whole-price tickets start at R$ 195 in Rio and R$ 215 in Curitiba and São Paulo, with prices varying by sector. Elsewhere, general sale opens on 30 October for Chile, 1 November for Peru and 2 November for Argentina.
Where it fits
The run follows the band's North American tour and sits inside a wider 2026 and 2027 schedule that takes them through Asia, Canada and the European festival circuit. Check the official tour page for the latest listings, and see our All Time Low artist page for more on their side of the bill.
