Khalid makes his India debut in December, with shows in Gurugram, Bengaluru and Mumbai

Khalid is finally coming to India. The American singer-songwriter has announced three December shows, in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai, as part of his It's Always Summer Somewhere World Tour. It will be his first time playing in the country.

For readers meeting him for the first time: Khalid broke through as a teenager with "Location" in 2016 and the debut album American Teen in 2017, and has spent the years since as one of pop-R&B's most dependable hitmakers, with "Talk", "Young Dumb & Broke" and "Better" among his best-known songs. India has been waiting a while. A planned run in 2020 was postponed when the pandemic hit.

The dates

• 13 December 2026, Delhi NCR: HUDA Gymkhana Club, Gurugram
• 15 December 2026, Bengaluru: Bhartiya Mall
• 17 December 2026, Mumbai: NESCO Center, Goregaon (Hall 6)

The shows are promoted by SkillBox with Red FM 93.5. Tickets are sold through the SkillBox website, and sales opened on 21 August 2026. Prices run from Rs 2,549 for General Admission and GA+ up to Rs 6,999 for the Fan Pit. Check the ticketing page for what is still available in each city, as the sale has been open for a while.

Why it matters for the December calendar

December is already a crowded month for live music in India. Fred again.. is playing his own debut run, and Rolling Loud India lands in Mumbai on 12 and 13 December. Khalid's run slots in as the quieter, songs-first option: mid-sized rooms rather than festival grounds, which suits a catalogue built on late-night R&B and slow-burn pop.

Venue choice matters here too. Hall 6 at NESCO is an indoor room, so Mumbai should feel far more intimate than the open-air shows around it.
