Sam Fender has added three more shows to his 2027 stadium tour, taking the run from nine dates to twelve. The Newcastle singer-songwriter, one of the biggest rock names in Britain, now plays a second night in Cardiff and in Edinburgh, and a third in London.
The new dates
The additions, all listed on Fender's official site with tickets on sale:
- 12 June 2027: Principality Stadium, Cardiff, a second night after 10 June
- 10 July 2027: Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, a second night after 8 July
- 2 September 2027: Wembley Stadium, London, a third night after 18 and 20 June
The full Proper Massive Stadium Tour now reads: Newcastle's St James' Park on 3 and 5 June, Cardiff on 10 and 12 June, Wembley on 18 and 20 June, Dublin's Marlay Park on 1 July, Edinburgh on 8 and 10 July, Manchester's Etihad Stadium on 15 and 17 July, and the extra Wembley date on 2 September. Fender also headlines Belgium's Rock Werchter on 3 July.
Wunderhorse, the rock band, are supporting on the UK stadium dates, apart from the new September Wembley show, where no support act has been named. The Dublin support has not been announced either.
Why the tour keeps growing
The run has been busy since it was announced. Fender made the rollout a talking point when he said he was not happy with leaked ticket prices, and front standing was then scrapped, with general standing at £85. The Newcastle presale was also pushed back 24 hours after a bot attack hit a ticketing site, and Fender said timings would be adjusted so tickets reached real fans.
Adding a second and third night is the usual answer when a stadium sells quickly, and it also spreads demand across more seats, which tends to ease pressure on resale prices. For fans who missed the first rush, the new dates are the way in.
Where to buy
Tickets for every date, including the three new ones, are through the official tour page linked above and the venues' own listings. Check the date and venue carefully before you buy, since several cities now have more than one night, and use only official sellers.
