The price row around Sam Fender's 2027 stadium run has produced a result before a single ticket has gone on sale. Premium front-standing tickets are off the table for the UK dates, and standing is now a single general admission tier at £85.
ADMC reported on Friday that prices for the run had leaked, that Fender was unhappy with them and that they would change. Now they have.
What Fender said
In an Instagram story on 24 October, the North Shields singer wrote: "I've managed to get Front Standing tickets removed from the UK stadium tour." His point, as he put it, is that everyone buying a standing ticket now has the same chance of getting to the front. He also said there will be no more standing tickets at £120.
He added that costs are much higher than they were two years ago and that venue and ticketing fees are outside his control.
The new prices
For the UK stadium dates:
- General standing: £85
- Seated: £95, £75 and £55
All of those exclude venue and ticketing fees, and a £1 per ticket contribution to the LIVE Trust, the charity that supports grassroots venues. For comparison, the leaked figures had Wembley front standing at £130.75 and general standing at £98.85.
Dates and how to buy
The nine shows run from 3 June to 17 July 2027: two nights at St James' Park in Newcastle, then Cardiff, two at Wembley, Dublin's Marlay Park, Edinburgh and two at the Etihad in Manchester. Wunderhorse support on every date except Dublin.
Presale is tied to his fourth album, SF4. Fans who pre-order it from his official site before 9:00am on Monday 26 October get a code, emailed by 8:00pm on Tuesday 27 October. Presale opens at 9:30am on Wednesday 28 October, and general sale follows at 9:30am on Friday 30 October, with a limit of six tickets per person. Presale access does not guarantee a ticket.
The album still has no title or release date.
