Diljit Dosanjh's Delhi stadium show is going ahead. Delhi Police granted permission on 23 October 2026 for the concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 30 October, part of his AURA India tour, ending a stretch in which the date looked uncertain.
What happened
Permission for the event had been held back rather than refused outright. BookMyShow Live, which promotes the tour with Live Nation, said the approval was temporarily withheld, not cancelled. It held a meeting with Delhi Police, presented a detailed plan and said it had assured the force of full compliance with security and traffic requirements. The police then cleared the show.
Delhi is a big stadium booking in the festive season, when police are stretched, which is why the sign-off mattered to fans holding tickets.
The date, again
The Delhi night was originally set for 1 November. We reported on 18 October that it had moved to 30 October to avoid the anniversary of the 1984 anti-Sikh violence. Tickets bought for the earlier date remain valid for the new one, and fans who cannot attend can ask for a refund through BookMyShow.
Where the tour goes next
After Delhi, the AURA run takes in Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Lucknow, with Chandigarh also on the schedule but details yet to be announced. Our full city and date breakdown has the rest, and his Ahmedabad stadium show on 21 November follows.
Diljit is the Punjabi singer and actor who turned Indian stadium shows into a genre of their own with the Dil-Luminati run in 2024, and more of his work lives on his ADMC artist page. Ticket and refund details are on the official BookMyShow listing for the show.
