Diljit Dosanjh's Delhi AURA show moves to 30 October, and your tickets still work

Diljit Dosanjh's Delhi night on the AURA India tour now happens on Friday 30 October 2026, not Sunday 1 November. The venue is unchanged: Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. BookMyShow, the exclusive ticketing partner for the India leg, confirmed the new date.

For readers meeting him for the first time: Diljit is the Punjabi singer and actor who turned a bhangra-first catalogue into stadium tours across the world, and this is his homecoming run. It is co-produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live and Live Nation.

What changes for ticket holders

Tickets already bought for the Delhi show remain valid for 30 October, so nobody needs to rebook. Anyone who cannot make the new date can ask for a refund: eligible buyers get a link on their registered mobile number, and refunds are not processed automatically. Check your booking and your messages before you assume either way.

The official Delhi listing is on BookMyShow.

Why it moved

The original date, 1 November, is the anniversary of the 1984 anti-Sikh violence. The change followed an appeal from Rajya Sabha MP Vikramjit Singh Sahney to shift the show off that date. Neither Diljit's team nor the promoters have published a longer explanation beyond announcing the new date.

The rest of the India run

Delhi is still the opening stop of seven. Nothing else has moved:

• Indore: 15 November 2026
• Ahmedabad: 21 November 2026, at Narendra Modi Stadium, the first India date he announced (our earlier report)
• Mumbai: 27 November 2026, at Mahalaxmi Race Course
• Bengaluru: 29 November 2026, at NICE Grounds
• Lucknow: 5 December 2026
• Chandigarh: date and venue still to be announced
