Sam Fender's 2027 stadium run now has nine dates, and a ticketing row has arrived before a single seat has gone on sale. Prices for the shows surfaced early, and the North East singer-songwriter has said publicly that he is not happy with them and that they are going to change.
ADMC flagged the SF27 teaser last week, when only the venues were known. The dates are now on Fender's official site.
The dates
All shows are in 2027:
- 3 and 5 June: St James' Park, Newcastle
- 10 June: Principality Stadium, Cardiff
- 18 and 20 June: Wembley Stadium, London
- 1 July: Marlay Park, Dublin
- 8 July: Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh
- 15 and 17 July: Etihad Stadium, Manchester
Wunderhorse, the indie band, support on every date except Dublin.
The price row
Figures that circulated ahead of the on-sale put standing at St James' Park at £98.60, with seats from £86.50 to £112.90, and Wembley front standing above £130. Those numbers are unofficial, and no official price list has been published. For context, his 2025 stadium shows were priced between £65 and £88.
Fender replied to the leak on Instagram, saying the prices had climbed higher than he intended and that a ticket should only cover the cost of putting the show on. He has also said split standing areas will not be used on this tour. When revised prices will appear has not been announced.
How to get tickets
Presale is tied to his fourth album, SF4. Fans who pre-order it from the official Sam Fender store before 9:00am GMT on Monday 26 October get a unique code, emailed by 8:00pm on Tuesday 27 October. Presale opens at 9:30am on Wednesday 28 October. General sale follows at 9:30am GMT on Friday 30 October, with a limit of six tickets per person. Presale access does not guarantee tickets.
The album itself has no title or release date yet. The site only promises more news soon.
Note the order of play: the pre-order deadline is 26 October, and no date has been given for the revised prices. We will update this story when they land.
