LL Cool J books his first Las Vegas residency, 11 nights at Dolby Live in May and July 2027

LL Cool J is taking Rock the Bells to the Strip. The Queens rapper, one of the first hip-hop acts to become a household name, has announced his first Las Vegas residency: 11 nights at Dolby Live at Park MGM across May and July 2027, with tickets on general sale since Monday 2 November through Ticketmaster.

All shows are at Dolby Live and start at 8pm Las Vegas time.

• May 2027: 15, 16, 19, 21 and 22
• July 2027: 9, 10, 11, 14, 16 and 17

What to expect

The residency borrows the name of Rock the Bells, the festival and cruise brand LL Cool J has built around hip-hop's generations. Each night comes with special guests from different eras and genres. Their names have not been announced yet.

The setlists will run from his debut album to his latest project, THE FORCE. For anyone who has not followed his career, that is a span of roughly four decades, from the 1985 debut Radio and early hits like "I Need Love" to more recent work.

In the announcement, he framed the run as a communal night rather than a solo victory lap: "Hip-hop started in a few neighborhoods in New York, and now it belongs to the whole world," and "This isn't me doing a show in Vegas. It's all of us."

Presales for Citi and AAdvantage cardholders opened on 30 October, followed by MGM Rewards, Live Nation and Ticketmaster presales on 31 October. General sale opened at 10am PT on 2 November. Prices were not published in the announcement, so check the Ticketmaster page for current availability. The venue uses mobile tickets.
