Ricky Kej is taking a different kind of show on the road. DAMROOH: Dance to the Cosmic Spirit is a seated, orchestral arena tour across India, opening in his home city of Bengaluru on 31 October 2026.
Kej is the Bengaluru composer and producer who has won three Grammy Awards, and he is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. This tour is built as an immersive concert rather than his usual festival set, and it runs in support of UNICEF.
The dates
- Bengaluru: 31 October 2026, Terraform Arena
- Delhi NCR: 28 November 2026, Leisure Valley Park, Gurugram
- Mumbai: 5 December 2026, MMRDA Grounds
Hyderabad and Chennai are listed on the official tour page as coming, with dates and venues still to be announced. Tickets are sold exclusively through District. The tour is promoted by Wizcraft.
Who is on stage
Kej is joined by an ensemble that mixes Indian classical instruments with global percussion. The international guest is Keith Middleton, a longtime member of the percussion show STOMP. The vocal line-up features playback singers Sudhir Yaduvanshi, Siddharth Basrur, Anjana Padmanabhan and Abi K Safa, alongside the classical vocalist Siddhartha Belmannu.
The rest of the band: Karthik Mani and Arun Kumar on percussion, Mayank Raina and Arjun Anand on sitar, Manonmani on sarangi and Shashank Akella on electric guitar.
Why it is worth a look
Large Indian tours are usually standing, loud and built around a hit parade. A seated orchestral show with sitar, sarangi and a STOMP percussionist at the centre is a different proposition, and the Bengaluru opener is in the city where Kej is based. We will add the Hyderabad and Chennai dates once they are announced.
