First Aid Kit announce Visions Of The Past, nine stripped-back UK and Ireland shows in January

First Aid Kit are coming back to the UK and Ireland in January 2027. The Swedish folk duo, sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, have announced Visions Of The Past, a nine-date run of quieter, closer shows that opens in Dublin on 18 January and ends at London's Eventim Apollo on 28 January.

What the shows are

The band describe the tour as stripped back and intimate. The set will move through their whole catalogue, from their first EP in 2008 to new songs nobody has heard yet. That promise of unreleased material is the detail worth noting: the duo's most recent studio album is Palomino, released in 2022.

The sisters' younger brother, Isak Benjamin, will support at every show.

The dates

• 18 January 2027: 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin
• 19 January: Waterfront Hall, Belfast
• 20 January: O2 Academy, Glasgow
• 22 January: O2 City Hall, Newcastle
• 23 January: O2 Apollo, Manchester
• 24 January: Civic Hall, Wolverhampton
• 25 January: New Theatre, Cardiff
• 27 January: Brighton Dome
• 28 January: Eventim Apollo, London

An artist presale opens on Wednesday 7 October 2026 at 10am BST, with registration through the band's site. General sale starts on Friday 9 October at 10am BST on Ticketmaster.

Why it matters

First Aid Kit began as two teenage sisters singing close harmonies in Stockholm and posting videos online, and they have since grown into a headline act in concert halls. Stripped-back rooms suit those voices: the harmonies are the whole point, and a seated theatre gives them space.

For anyone catching up, Palomino is the place to start.
