Billboard Latin Music Awards name hosts and a stacked performer list, with Rubén Blades set for the Icon Award

The stage is filling up for Latin music's biggest night of the autumn. Telemundo, which broadcasts the Billboard Latin Music Awards, has now named the hosts and most of the performers for the show on Thursday, 22 October 2026 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami.

Who is hosting

Actress Carmen Villalobos and TV presenter Javier Poza front the broadcast, according to the network's announcement. Poza is a returning face: he was part of the hosting team in 2025. Hosts had not been named when we previewed the finalists.

The performers

The newest batch of confirmed acts spans the whole map of Latin music: Elvis Crespo, Erick Brian, Ha*Ash, Jessi Uribe, La Nueva Ola de la Cumbia, Nanpa Básico, Nella, Paola Jara, Pututi & Nesty, Santos Bravos and Tony Dize.

They join names announced earlier: Carlos Rivera, Chuyin, Fuerza Regida, Kapo, Manuel Turizo, Melymel, Ozuna, Pablo Alborán, RIZA, Tito Double P, Víctor Manuelle and Xavi with Yahritza y Su Esencia.

If you are new to the scene: Fuerza Regida and Tito Double P are two of the leading acts in regional Mexican music, which dominates this year's finalist list. Ha*Ash is the Mexican-American duo of sisters Hanna and Ashley Pérez, Elvis Crespo is the Puerto Rican merengue star behind "Suavemente", and Pablo Alborán is one of Spain's biggest pop singer-songwriters.

Presenters and honours

Presenters include Becky G, Lali, Ryan Castro, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Lupillo Rivera, Ana Mena, Clave Especial and Los Gemelos, alongside actors and TV personalities.

Panamanian salsa and songwriting legend Rubén Blades receives the 2026 Billboard Icon Award, and Rosalía is set to take the Hall of Fame honour, as we reported earlier.

The show closes Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami Beach, which opened today. Peso Pluma leads the finalists with 17 mentions, so expect the night to lean heavily towards corridos and regional Mexican.
