Troye Sivan releases his fourth studio album, She's the Best, today, 9 October 2026. It is the first full record from the Australian pop singer since Something to Give Each Other in 2023, and the first since he signed to Interscope Records.
What is on it
The album listing shows 13 songs running 42 minutes. The tracks we can confirm by name are "Embarrassingly", "Sex Star", "She's the Best", "Lost Time", "Party" and "Troye Meets World".
Two guests are credited. Charli xcx appears on the title track, and Lily-Rose Depp features on "Lost Time". Sivan has said Charli is the voice you hear at the very end of "She's the Best". The pair have history: they toured together on the Sweat tour in 2024.
The title track
"She's the Best" came out on 14 August as the lead single. Sivan wrote it with Leland, George Daniel, Jack Antonoff and Styalz Fuego, and the production is by Daniel, Antonoff, Fuego and Sivan. Daniel is the drummer of The 1975, and Antonoff is one of pop's busiest producers, so the credits give a clear idea of the palette: guitars, strings and synths building out of spoken verses.
The song is an ode to the women in Sivan's life and to the trans women, drag queens and feminine people who shaped how he sees himself. The video, directed by Gordon von Steiner, stars Nicole Kidman and draws on queer New York nightlife and fashion of the 1980s.
The idea behind the record
Sivan has described the album as something meant to work visually as well as musically, "a painting that captures my life in all of its moods and colours". The songs, he says, centre on desire, identity, joy, loneliness and queer belonging. The cover was photographed by Jan Luca Hellwich, with Imogene Strauss as co-creative director.
Who this is for
If you came in through "Rush" and "Got Me Started" on the last album, the club-ready side of Sivan is clearly still here, and the song titles suggest a record that is as open about desire as it is about loneliness. If you know him from Blue Neighbourhood in 2015, expect a very different, more theatrical artist and the title track suggests a record built around the queer nightlife and fashion imagery he is drawing on.
We have not reviewed the album and this guide is about what the record is, not a verdict. Find it on your platform of choice, and check back on Troye Sivan's ADMC page for what comes next.
