Justice will score Grand Theft Auto VI, and "Flower in a Hurricane" with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard is out now
Rockstar confirmed the French duo as the game's composers on 15 October, with a new single that closes the launch trailer and sits on the 34-track soundtrack.

Justice are the composers of Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar Games made it official on 15 October 2026, alongside the game's launch trailer, and the French duo marked the moment with a new single: "Flower in a Hurricane", featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
That is a lot of names on one song, and it is a big job for a duo that has spent two decades making maximalist, big-riff electronic music. Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay broke through on Ed Banger Records in the mid-2000s, and their 2024 album Hyperdrama already featured Tame Impala's Kevin Parker on two tracks.
What was announced
Rockstar says Justice have written the game's original score. Their music was already audible in the extended look at the game released in late August, which led fans to suspect the duo's involvement before this week's confirmation.
"Flower in a Hurricane" is the track the launch trailer is built around. It is out now on streaming services, credited to Justice, Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Detailed credits for who plays and sings what have been described differently across early listings, so we are not splitting them out until the official credits settle.
The soundtrack album
The single sits on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track collection due on 19 November 2026, the same day the game arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are open on vinyl and CD. Other names attached to the album include Travis Scott, Cardi B, Yung Lean, PinkPantheress, Keith Richards, Rauw Alejandro and Fuerza Regida. Details of a separate release collecting Justice's original score have not been announced yet.
This is the latest in a run of music reveals for the game. Earlier this month we covered the radio stations and hosts announced for GTA VI, from Dirty South Classics with Trick Daddy and Trina onward.
Why it matters
Game scores usually sit in the background. A Justice score, with a pop-sized single fronted by Tame Impala and SZA, points the other way: music as a headline feature of the launch. For Justice it is a very large audience at once, and for Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard it is another way into a game that millions will play.
You can find everything we have on the duo on their artist page and on Tame Impala's and SZA's.
