Country singer Ella Langley cancelled her show at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday 9 October 2026 after what her team described as a serious security threat.
Langley, one of the breakout country voices of the last two years, explained the decision in an Instagram caption. She said it was made "under the advisement of local authorities, the venue, and my security team," and added: "I refuse to put anyone in harm's way." She did not say what the threat was.
What police have said
Tulsa police have offered a more measured account. They say a call threatening concertgoers was received and that a sweep with bomb-detection dogs turned up nothing. A police captain has said officers found no credible threat and did not advise the act to cancel, and that the decision to call the show off was made by Langley's side.
The two accounts are not in conflict so much as written from different seats. A venue and an artist's security team carry a different kind of risk from a police department assessing whether a threat is credible, and cancelling at the last minute is a decision that costs everyone, fans most of all.
Tickets and what is next
The BOK Center has said it will share refund details as soon as it can. We have not seen a rescheduled Tulsa date announced, and it is not confirmed whether the show will be made up. Check the venue's official page for refund steps before doing anything with your tickets.
Langley is back on the road after a summer break from touring. We will update this story when a new date or refund process is confirmed.
