Barry Manilow has cancelled his Friday 9 October and Saturday 10 October shows at the International Theater at the Westgate Las Vegas after coming down with bronchitis.
Representatives for the singer and the resort confirmed the cancellations. In their statement, they said Manilow had played a "triumphant welcome-back concert" on Thursday 8 October before the illness hit him and forced him to call off the two nights.
What happened on Friday
Friday's show was cut short. Accounts from the room differ on exactly how much he sang before it ended, with some saying one song and others two. The band kept playing until an announcement closed the night. Ticketholders have been told refunds are being issued.
Why it matters to fans
Manilow is 83 and has been open about his health. He was treated for early stage lung cancer, had surgery late last year, and returned to performing in spring 2026. He has also said he went through six weeks of bronchitis followed by a five week relapse earlier, which is why this one is being watched closely.
His next scheduled Westgate dates are 15 to 17 October. It has not been announced whether those shows are affected, so anyone holding tickets should check the venue's listing before travelling.
We will update this story if new dates or changes are announced.
