Born into music, raised on the internet
His dad plays for the band Tortoise, and his mom is a top music publicist. Handed Ableton at age 12, he skipped formal training and learned production deep in Minecraft and Discord servers.
Skrillex was his childhood mentor
Hollis did not just meet Skrillex, he grew up around him. His mother actually co-founded the iconic EDM label OWSLA with Skrillex, making Sonny Moore a real life mentor from day one.
Plugged into the EDM scene at age 12
Hollis even made a brief cameo in a Skrillex video as a kid. Spending his childhood backstage during the peak 2010s rave era heavily inspired his current distorted, aggressive sound.
He wiped his SoundCloud and reset the internet
Just as his early underground hype peaked, Hollis deleted his entire catalogue. He rebranded, dropped his breakout music, and went from a niche internet secret to packing out mosh pits.
