Westside Gunn has a new album on the way. Heelmatic is due on 13 November 2026, and it is the first record the Buffalo rapper has made for Mass Appeal.
Gunn is the co-founder of Griselda, the Buffalo crew that helped put hard, sample-heavy New York rap back on the map in the late 2010s. He is also one of hip-hop's most distinctive curators: his albums tend to feel like gallery shows, with wrestling-ring ad-libs, high-fashion name-drops and a rotating cast of producers. His last full-length was Heels Have Eyes 2 in 2025.
The lead single
The first taste is "Zilla", out now with a video directed by Daily Gem. It is produced by Denny LaFlare, a regular in Gunn's circle. The announcement does not list any guest rappers, so for now this looks like a Gunn-heavy record.
Judging by the titles alone, the tracklist leans into his usual love of wordplay: "Grant Heel", "Blowdysseus", "Koke Slam", "Tommy Heelfiger", "Martin 4sese" and "Upstate Farm" are among the song names. We will publish a fuller guide once the record is out and we have the credits in front of us.
Why the label move matters
Mass Appeal is a New York hip-hop label and media company, and Heelmatic marks a new home for Gunn's solo work. He has often dropped projects with almost no warning, as with the Heels Have Eyes EP in April 2025, so a date announced three weeks ahead is a change in rhythm for him.
Heelmatic arrives on 13 November 2026. Browse more on Westside Gunn's ADMC page.
