Tini's Miami night never got off the ground. The Argentine pop star's Futttura World Tour date at the Kaseya Center on Sunday, 18 October 2026 was called off at the last minute, with fans already inside the arena, and she has now explained why in her own words.
What Tini says happened
In a statement posted to her Instagram account in the early hours of Monday, 19 October, Tini wrote that this was not a simple technical hiccup. She said the arena was handed over to her team hours behind schedule and that much of the build was unfinished. Sound, lighting, video and communications systems were not working, and the safety checks that have to happen before an audience is let in, including checks on the show's flying rigs, could not be completed.
Her team, she wrote, worked until the final minute and everyone was ready to go onstage, but she was not willing to perform without safety guaranteed. She said a fuller formal statement would follow, and that she did not want to go into other circumstances of the tour.
The promoter's version
The show's promoter, Ake Music, put out its own statement after the cancellation. It pointed to technical and production requirements that had not been met, and said the situation was completely beyond Tini's control. The promoter's account lines up with hers: the problem was the state of the venue on the day, not the artist.
Tickets and what comes next
Ticket holders have been directed to their original point of purchase for refunds. No replacement Miami date has been announced, and we will update this story if one is.
Who Tini is
Tini Stoessel came up as a teen TV star in Argentina and has spent the last several years as one of Latin pop's biggest touring names, working across pop, reggaeton and dance-pop in Spanish. Futttura is her current world tour, and a cancellation with fans already in the building is the kind of thing that stings, for the audience and for an artist known for big staged shows.
We will track any new Miami date and any further statement from Tini or the promoter.
