Rod Stewart's Final Encore tour: 21 UK and European dates in 2027, and he says he is not retiring

Rod Stewart has announced The Final Encore, a 21-date UK and European tour for 2027 that he describes as his last rock and roll tour. In the same breath, he has made clear that he is not retiring.

For readers meeting him for the first time: Stewart is the raspy-voiced Londoner behind "Maggie May", "Sailing" and "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?", a singer who has been filling arenas for more than sixty years. This run is the one he is pitching as the big farewell to long touring.

The dates

The tour opens at Dublin's 3Arena on 23 April 2027 and closes at Hannover's ZAG Arena on 24 July 2027. The UK and Ireland leg runs like this:

• 27 April: SSE Arena, Belfast
• 29 April: OVO Hydro, Glasgow
• 4 May: Utilita Arena, Birmingham
• 6 May: Co-op Live, Manchester
• 11 May: The O2, London

Then he heads to the continent:

• 28 May: Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam
• 29 May: AFAS Dome, Antwerp
• 1 June: Uber Arena, Berlin
• 3 June: PSD Bank Dome, Düsseldorf
• 6 June: Royal Arena, Copenhagen
• 20 June: Olympiahalle, Munich
• 22 June: Pula Arena, Pula, Croatia
• 24 June: O2 Arena, Prague
• 20 July: Tauron Arena, Kraków
• 24 July: ZAG Arena, Hannover

Tickets and who is on the bill

A fan club presale opened on 29 September 2026, and general sale began on 2 October 2026 at 10am UK time. Howard Jones, the synth-pop songwriter behind "New Song" and "What Is Love?", is the special guest on the UK and Ireland dates.

"Most definitely my last"

Stewart's own announcement is careful with its wording. "After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last," he said in the tour statement, adding that he hopes fans will join him so he can thank them "with the music and one hell of a show".

The framing matters. He has said this is the last rock and roll tour, not the end of performing, and a standalone show here and there has not been ruled out.

It lands in a busy season for veteran acts saying goodbye to the road. Only yesterday we reported that Brian May says Queen's touring days are over, and Erasure have announced a 20-date arena run of their own.
