Quavo's QRÖMELIFE, explained: Pharrell at the controls and Offset back in the booth
Quavo's third solo album is out, with Pharrell steering all 14 tracks and a guest list running from Offset to Tyler, the Creator. Here is what's on it.

Quavo released QRÖMELIFE on Friday, 2 October 2026, through Quality Control Music and Motown Records. It is his third solo album, after Quavo Huncho (2018) and Rocket Power (2023), and it runs 14 tracks.
The headline name is not a guest. Pharrell Williams executive produced the record, and Complex reported that he produced every one of the 14 songs. Quavo has been plain about what that meant to him. In an Instagram post shared around the release, he wrote: "I appreciate my big brother Pharrell for guiding me and pushing me creatively at a time when I needed it." On the Idea Generation podcast, as quoted by Complex, he said Pharrell "challenges you to just go bigger and try to make stadium music."
What the album is about
Quavo has framed QRÖMELIFE as a record about getting through the hardest stretch of his life. "Qromelife is about the journey of me going through tough times in life and getting to the other side through my faith, family and my love for music," he wrote on Instagram. That stretch includes the death of his nephew and Migos groupmate Takeoff in November 2022.
Family is the other thread. On 28 September he posted a short film for the album to Instagram with the caption "New Beginnings New Blessings," and XXL noted it included a brief moment with a baby girl. He confirmed to Complex the next day that she is his daughter.
The guests
The guest list, as credited on Apple Music:
- Backwards with T.I.
- BA with Future
- Away with Offset
- Baby Breath with Pharrell Williams, Tyler, the Creator and A$AP Rocky
- Ball My Love with Lil Baby
- HAOYU DEWDAT with Yung Miami
- House Music with Justin Timberlake
"Away" is the one Migos fans have circled. Complex noted it is Quavo and Offset's first collaboration since the Culture III era in 2021, and XXL reported the two previewed it together at the album's release party. In recent interviews Quavo has said Takeoff's death helped ease the friction between them, and Complex reported that he told Hot 97 a final Migos album using previously recorded Takeoff vocals is in the works.
Tyler, the Creator has already set the bar for his own verse on "Baby Breath." In a social post picked up by Stereogum, he wrote: "my best verse of all time is on this (prolly top 25 in rap history)." Make of that what you will.
The solo cuts fill out the middle and the back end: "Hit-A-Lik," "Factory Trim," "Sweep," "Thick in the Mirror," "HAAVIN" and the closer, "Destined."
The singles
The rollout started in an unusual room. "HAAVIN" premiered at Pharrell's Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2027 men's show in Paris on 23 June and came out on 26 June. "Trance (Walk It Down)" followed on 14 August with a video shot at a villa in Marbella, Spain, directed by Daps. "Backwards," with T.I., debuted as a live performance at WWE's Sunday Night Main Event in Atlanta on 6 September before its release on 11 September.
Where it fits
Rocket Power was Quavo's first full statement after losing Takeoff. QRÖMELIFE reads, on paper, as the next chapter: a single producer shaping the whole thing, an Offset reunion on wax, and a public introduction to his daughter, all in the same week. Whether that adds up is for your ears to decide. We'll be back once we've lived with it.
