Pitch Music & Arts has announced the lineup for its tenth edition, and it is a big one: more than 60 acts across five days, from 5 to 9 March 2027, in the foothills of Gariwerd (the Grampians) in western Victoria, Australia.
Pitch is the country's best-known bush-dance festival, a camping weekend built around electronic music, art and a very long sunrise set. The first edition was held in the same part of Victoria in March 2017, so this one doubles as a birthday party.
Who is playing
Dutch producer CHRIS STASSY sits at the top of the international billing, alongside Swiss artist Chlär, French DJ SWEELY, Canadian act Peach, Germany's CLOUDY and Patrick Mason, and Colin Benders from the Netherlands. Other international names on the poster include Hiroko Yamamura, Verraco, Zalina, Julie Desire, RONI and Alex Kassian.
The home side is led by HAAi, the Australian-born DJ who has built a global following on psychedelic, bass-heavy sets, and the duo X CLUB., who play two sets and mix techno, breakbeat, jungle and trance. DJ BORING returns, and Glasgow's Denis Sulta, who played the closing set in 2019, comes back to the site. Kia, Connor Wall, Aldonna, Reptant, Soju Gang and Wax'o Paradiso are among the Australian names, with live sets from Jump Source, Roka and Tangerine.
Four stage takeovers are announced (Bitter Ivy, Chuleo Club, Hide The Junk and Ultraviolet), plus Rock Pool takeovers from Mob Ties, of the Essence, Radio Cazimi, Solace Radio, The Breakfast Club and World Dance. The Pitch Sunrise Set returns with its artist still unannounced, and Anna Nalpantidis is back as arts curator for a second year.
Tickets
Two, three and four day passes are available, all with general camping included. Premium Camp, Pre-Pitched and glamping upgrades are on offer, along with carpool packages and coach transport from Melbourne and Ararat. Payment plans through Afterpay, Zip Pay and Laybuy start from presale. Prices were not listed in the announcement.
- Pitch Collective presale (past attendees and alumni): 26 October, 6pm AEDT
- Presale: 27 October, 6pm AEDT (registration closes at 4pm AEDT the same day)
- General sale: 28 October, 12pm AEDT
Registration and passes are through the official Pitch site.
Why it matters
A decade in, Pitch has become one of the few places where a European techno name, an Australian breakbeat duo and a Colombian club DJ share the same bill without it feeling like a stretch. That depth of booking is why we think the full A to Z list is worth reading end to end.
