NCT WISH are coming back on 12 October with I SPY, a six-track mini album

NCT WISH have a date for their next comeback. The group's fourth mini album, I SPY, arrives on 12 October 2026, with the six-track record going live on streaming platforms at 6 p.m. in Seoul (2:30 p.m. in India, 9 a.m. UTC) and a physical edition released the same day. SM Entertainment announced the release on 14 September.

What we know about I SPY

The title track shares the album's name. It is described as a dance-pop song that shifts between sections, with lyrics about every sense turning toward one person the moment a crush begins. The rest of the record, the label says, moves through different styles across its six songs. The full tracklist, concept photos and teasers are being rolled out in the run-up to release, and the album already has a pre-release listing on Apple Music.

The story world is called "Wish Land". In the opening teaser, each member meets an unknown force called "energy" in a digital dimension and has to face his own emotions. It is a continuation of the storytelling this group has used since their debut, where the concept is part of the pitch as much as the songs.

Before the release

Ahead of the album, NCT WISH are holding a two-day offline event called "I SPY YOU" on 10 and 11 October at Hwajeong Gymnasium at Korea University in Seoul. That is where the title track is due to get its first stage performance.

Why this group matters

For readers meeting them for the first time: NCT is SM Entertainment's long-running, rotating-unit boy group project, and WISH is its youngest and most Japan-facing branch. They have been active in both Korea and Japan, and their Japanese release "Yo-I-Don!/Boy Meets Girl" has been certified by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. I SPY comes roughly six months after their previous studio album, Ode to Love.

We will add the full tracklist and the music video once they are public.
