Miley opens her first Hollywood Bowl run, with one more night of Bass Persuades on 18 October

Miley Cyrus has opened her first run at the Hollywood Bowl. The pop singer, who is now billing herself simply as Miley for this era, played the first of two Los Angeles nights on Friday, 16 October 2026, under the banner "Miley: Bass Persuades, Live at the Hollywood Bowl". The second show is on Sunday, 18 October.

These are her first performances at the 17,000-capacity amphitheatre, an LA landmark where she has long said she loves to watch shows, and the first live dates built around her tenth studio album, Bass Persuades. The record came out on 18 September 2026 on Atlantic Records. It runs to 11 tracks and about 38 minutes.

Who is on the record

The album's credits include the New York band Model/Actriz, who feature on "Different Religion" and are also the support act for both Bowl nights. Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow features on "Neon Signs". Other titles on the tracklist include "Snow", "Aftermath", "Let's Get Married" and the title track, "Bass Persuades".

Model/Actriz frontman Cole Haden is also credited as a co-writer on the album's "Prelude".

What we know about the set

The full setlist for the opening night has not been officially confirmed, and we are not going to pass off pre-show guesses as fact. Songs from the new album, including the title track and "Different Religion", were part of the night. Whether older hits turn up on the second show is unknown until the lights go down.

Miley had said for a long time she did not plan to tour, which makes a pair of one-off nights at a venue this size feel like an event rather than the start of a run. No further dates have been announced.
