Matchbox Twenty are heading back out in 2027 to celebrate three decades of their debut album, Yourself or Someone Like You. The 30th anniversary tour covers 52 dates across the US and Canada, opening on 15 May 2027 at the Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Birmingham, Alabama and closing on 12 August at the Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids, Michigan. General sale opened on Friday 23 October at 10am local time, after presales that began on 20 October.
For readers new to the band: Matchbox Twenty are a rock group from Orlando, Florida, fronted by Rob Thomas. Yourself or Someone Like You arrived in 1996 and went on to become one of the biggest-selling debut albums of the decade, powered by "Push", "3AM", "Real World" and "Back 2 Good". Fans can register for presale access and tour updates on the band's official site.
Before the tour: Stagecoach
The 2027 plans start earlier than the tour proper. The band are booked for the Stagecoach country festival in Indio, California on 25 April 2027, a separate appearance ahead of the run.
