Martin Garrix has a title and a date for the album he has been teasing for the better part of a year. MARTY is listed on Apple Music for 5 March 2027, with 14 songs, released through his own STMPD RCRDS and Darkroom Records. The full tracklist has not been published yet.
The Dutch producer, who became a festival headliner as a teenager with "Animals" in 2013, is 30 now, and the name is a nod to where it started: Marty was his first DJ alias. He has described the record as a pop-dance album, a turn away from the big-room sound that built his career, though he has said he does not intend to lose his own sound along the way.
What we know so far
Two songs are already out. "Catharina", released in March 2026, was a deeply personal track and the first on which Garrix sings lead himself, and "This Dream Of You" followed on 2 October 2026. Both are expected to sit on the album.
Several of the guests are also familiar by now:
- Madonna: "Bizarre", a collaboration Garrix has previewed live, is also on her Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II.
- U2: "Fireflies", premiered at Tomorrowland with a surprise appearance from The Edge.
- Ed Sheeran: a song the pair began working on more than a decade ago, released in May as "Repeat It".
More collaborators are said to be on the way, including a Spanish-language song and what would be his first team-up with a K-pop act. Those names are not yet officially confirmed, so we will wait for the tracklist before listing them.
Why it matters
It is his first full album since Sentio, the club record from April 2022, and a deliberate change of lane. Garrix has spent years as one of the biggest names in dance music, but a pop-leaning record with Madonna, U2 and Sheeran in the credits is a different bet: songs first, drops second.
For readers in India, the album lands in the middle of a busy dance-music calendar, with Fred again.. due in December. We will update this story when the tracklist and a tour are announced.
The release listing is on the Apple Music listing.
