Macklemore says the three European dates of his Free Palestine Tour have sold out. In an Instagram post on 1 October 2026, quoted by both Rolling Stone and NME, he said he was "honestly blown away" by the response and that support line-ups would be announced soon.
The shows
The tour was announced on 24 September 2026. It has three dates so far:
- 26 October 2026: 3Arena, Dublin
- 29 October 2026: Accor Arena, Paris
- 30 October 2026: OVO Arena Wembley, London
An artist presale opened on 28 September, with general sale on 30 September. The London venue lists the show as Macklemore & Friends: Free Palestine Tour. Macklemore has said US dates will follow, though none have been announced.
According to NME, all revenue from the concerts goes to 12 organisations supporting Palestinians, including Anera, HEAL Palestine, Jewish Voice for Peace, the Palestinian Youth Movement and UNRWA USA.
What he said
In the 1 October post, as reported by NME and Rolling Stone, Macklemore wrote that the shows were put together "fast and in community", and added: "When those in power try to silence our calls for liberation, art will always be a form of resistance."
When he announced the tour, NME reported him saying that "what happened to me is bigger than one artist or one stage."
How we got here
Macklemore had been opening Ed Sheeran's North American stadium tour. At Sheeran's MetLife Stadium shows in New Jersey in early September, he said "Free Palestine" from the stage. He announced on 14 September that he was off the tour, saying Sheeran told him Gillette Stadium owner Robert Kraft had objected to him playing the Massachusetts dates. In a statement reported by Rolling Stone, Kraft said Macklemore's statements and imagery were deeply offensive to the Jewish community.
Sheeran said on Instagram that the venue owners and promoter Messina Touring Group made the final call, and that he had tried and failed to find a solution. The tour's remaining opening acts later pulled out too.
In mid-September, Macklemore pledged his $1 million net earnings from the tour to six Palestinian aid groups. Rolling Stone reported that Kraft pledged $2 million after Sheeran asked him to.
No further dates or support acts had been announced as of 3 October 2026.
