Lisa's next solo chapter has a date. Her EP Press Play arrives on 23 October 2026, sixteen days from now, and it is a short, personal one: six tracks in English and Thai.
For readers new to her: Lisa, born Lalisa Manobal in Thailand, is the rapper and dancer in BLACKPINK, one of the biggest groups in K-pop, and has built a solo career alongside it. She also acted in the third season of HBO's The White Lotus, and Press Play is her follow-up to her debut album Alter Ego.
What we know
The EP is released through Lloud and RCA Records on CD, vinyl LP, download and streaming. The lead single, "SaWaDiKa", came out on 3 September 2026. Its title plays on "sawasdee ka", the polite Thai greeting a woman uses, and it was produced by Thom Bridges and Ojivolta.
The rollout began in August, when red billboards reading "Hello สวัสดีค่ะ" appeared in Bangkok, New York, Los Angeles and Mexico City, ahead of the formal announcement on 24 August. The framing from her camp is a story about the journey from Thailand to global stardom, and the EP is described as her most personal work so far. On The Tonight Show she explained the title simply: it is like a movie, so you just press play.
The physical edition
The US store for the CD lists a jewel case with a 12-page booklet and one randomised photocard from a set of five, priced at $14.98 and shipping on 23 October. The official US shop page is taking pre-orders now.
What we do not know yet
The full tracklist has not been published. Lisa has said the fourth track will be the next single and that its title starts with the letter T, so expect another song before the EP lands. No features or tour dates have been announced for the EP. We will update this story when the tracklist drops.
