The Latin Recording Academy has named the first fourteen performers for the 27th Latin Grammy Awards, and the list covers a lot of ground: reggaeton's godfather, a Spanish pop experimenter, a Brazilian superstar and one of regional Mexican's biggest voices.
The ceremony takes place on Thursday 12 November 2026 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Roselyn Sánchez returns as host. Univision carries the three-hour broadcast live from 8 p.m. ET/PT, with a one-hour pre-show at 7 p.m. The Latin Grammy Premiere, where most of the trophies are handed out, happens earlier the same day.
Who is on the bill so far
Headlining the early list is Daddy Yankee, the Puerto Rican pioneer who is this year's Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year. He is also nominated for Best Urban Performance and Best Urban Song. See his artist page for our coverage.
Alongside him: Rosalía, Anitta, Carín León, Jorge Drexler, Silvana Estrada, Kany García, Juanes, Mon Laferte, Vivir Quintana, Rawayana, Elena Rose, Xavi and Banda Los Recoditos.
Several of them have a lot riding on the night. Anitta is up for Album of the Year and Best Portuguese Language Contemporary Pop Album. Carín León is up for Album of the Year and Record of the Year. Rawayana, the Venezuelan band, is also in the Album of the Year race, and Elena Rose is up for Record of the Year. Vivir Quintana is nominated for Song of the Year, and Banda Los Recoditos for Best Banda Album.
The nominations race
Producer and songwriter Edgar Barrera leads the field with 10 nominations. Four acts follow on seven each: CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Karol G, Jorge Drexler and Rosalía. Mon Laferte and Silvana Estrada have six apiece.
Karol G and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, the Argentine duo, are not on the announced performer list yet. The Academy says more performers and details will follow in the coming weeks, so those gaps may close.
For a reader new to the awards: the Latin Grammys honour music in Spanish and Portuguese from across the Americas and Spain, and they are separate from the Grammys. The night is usually where regional Mexican, urban, pop and singer-songwriter worlds share one stage, which is what makes a lineup like this one worth reading closely. The full nominee list and ceremony details are on the Latin Recording Academy's site.
