Kid Rock puts Lil Wayne on "7 Sins" and moves Eminem to "Heal My Faith", three days before the album
Halfway 2 Jesus arrives on 17 October. Kid Rock says Lil Wayne now takes the "7 Sins" feature, and Eminem is on a different song.

Three days before his Christian album lands, Kid Rock has reshuffled its most talked-about guest list. In a video he shared on 14 October 2026, he said Lil' Wayne is now the featured artist on "7 Sins", the song first announced with Eminem.
Eminem has not been dropped from the record. Rock said he is now on a different track called "Heal My Faith". Calling Wayne "another very good friend of mine", Rock framed the swap in the same video as a response to the online argument the original pairing set off.
What changed, and what has not
When the 17-track Halfway 2 Jesus tracklist came out on 1 October, "7 Sins" was the headline credit: Eminem, a Detroit rapper who has criticised Donald Trump, on a faith album from Rock, one of Trump's best-known musical supporters. A representative for Eminem confirmed at the time that the song was official. Rock defended the pairing on 12 October, saying the two had long agreed not to let politics divide them.
Neither Rock nor Eminem has said why the features were rearranged, so we will not guess. We have not seen a statement from Eminem about "Heal My Faith". The rest of the tracklist, which includes the title track with Gary LeVox and Jimmie Allen, has not been changed by anything we can see.
The Wayne connection
This is not a cold pairing. Rock and Wayne performed "All Summer Long" together at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards and again at that year's CMA Awards, when Rock's mash-up of "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Werewolf" was everywhere. Eminem's own history with Rock goes back to 1998, when he appeared on "Fuck Off" from Devil Without a Cause, and Rock turned up in the video for Eminem's "Berzerk" in 2013.
What to know before 17 October
- Album: Halfway 2 Jesus, Rock's first studio album since 2022, is out on Saturday 17 October 2026 (some listings shorten the title to Halfway to Jesus).
- Single: "James 1:17 (Jesus Is King)" is already out, via Top Dog Records.
- Open question: whether "Heal My Faith" appears under that exact title and credit on release day. We will update when the album is live.
