DJ Snake joins The Chainsmokers and Sebastian Ingrosso at the top of Sunburn 2026

DJ Snake is coming back to India. Sunburn announced on 8 September 2026 that the French producer will headline Sunburn Festival 2026 in Mumbai, completing a top line that already had The Chainsmokers and Sebastian Ingrosso.

The dates

The festival's 19th edition runs on 18 and 19 December 2026 at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai. DJ Snake plays the second night, 19 December. The Chainsmokers were announced in June to headline the opening night on 18 December, and Ingrosso, one third of Swedish House Mafia, was confirmed in August.

According to Sunburn's own announcement, this year's festival uses what it calls a reimagined, more concentrated two-day format, under the theme "Awaken the Core," with a closing party at NSCI Dome on 20 December. It is the festival's second edition in Mumbai, after its debut in the city in 2025.

The racecourse is not new ground for Sunburn. The organisers point out that it hosted Avicii's early India show in 2011, Swedish House Mafia in 2013 and Martin Garrix in 2016.

DJ Snake's India run

"India always brings incredible energy, and I'm really looking forward to returning here," DJ Snake said in the festival's press note. He will also play a solo Sunburn Arena show in Bengaluru on 18 December, the night before his Mumbai set. Rolling Stone India reported that the Bengaluru date is a rescheduled stop from an Arena tour that was postponed earlier, and that his last Sunburn Festival appearance was in 2019.

For anyone who came up on the producer behind "Lean On," "Turn Down for What," "Let Me Love You" and "Taki Taki," that makes two chances to catch him in the same week.
