Cameron Winter's first live album, Live at Carnegie Hall, is out today, 9 October 2026, on Partisan Records and Play It Again Sam. It captures the night of 11 December 2025, when the singer and pianist, also the frontman of the New York band Geese, played the main auditorium at Carnegie Hall.
What is on it
Eleven songs, opening with a new one, "It All Fell In The River". Most of the set is drawn from his debut solo album Heavy Metal (2024), reworked for voice and piano, plus "Take It With You" and "Vines", which first came out as singles.
The full tracklist:
- It All Fell In The River
- Try As I May
- Emperor XIII In Shades
- The Rolling Stones
- Love Takes Miles
- Cancer of the Skull
- If You Turn Back Now
- Nina + Field of Cops
- $0
- Take It With You
- Vines
Three of those, "It All Fell In The River", "Emperor XIII In Shades" and "If You Turn Back Now", have not appeared on a record before. Ariel Rechtshaid is credited as producer and mixer.
The film
Paul Thomas Anderson and Benny Safdie were filming at Carnegie Hall that night, and a concert film, Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall, is screening in cinemas on a theatrical run through early January. The record and the film are separate releases, so the album stands on its own as a way into the show.
Who is Cameron Winter
Winter fronts Geese, the New York band that became one of the more talked-about American guitar groups of the past two years, and his solo work is a stranger, more intimate thing: hoarse, unpredictable songs built around piano and a voice that can swing from a whisper to a howl. A live record in one of the country's most formal rooms is the logical place to hear that contrast.
Find him on his ADMC artist page. We have not reviewed the album and will say so here if that changes.
