Brooke Combe has announced her second album, Too Late For Tears, for 5 March 2027 on Fontana Records. The Edinburgh soul singer has also shared a new single, "Passing Faces", and booked her biggest headline tour so far: 13 dates across the UK and Europe in March 2027.
The album
Too Late For Tears has 11 songs and was made with her longtime collaborator James Skelly, frontman of the Liverpool band The Coral. They recorded it at Skelly's Kempston Studios in Liverpool. Combe is a big-voiced, old-school soul singer with a following built on live shows, and the pairing with a songwriter from the Merseyside guitar-pop world is a good fit for her classic sound.
The tracklist:
- How Can I Tell You (To Love Me More)
- Tears Won't Lie
- Love Was Made Of Stone
- Price To Pay
- Passing Faces
- What Will I Do?
- It's Not Over
- Don't Go Blaming Me
- So Glad (I'm With You)
- I Still Love You
- Am I Losing You?
"Passing Faces" came out on 16 October 2026, according to its streaming listing. "Love Was Made Of Stone" was released as a single in August and is track three.
