Artists to Look Out For at Lolla India 2027
Lolla India is back for 2027. The lineup is not out yet, but the rumour mill is loud. Here is who to do your homework on, one song each.
It is official. Lollapalooza India is coming back in 2027. The announcement dropped today, dates are locked, and the lineup is on its way.
Which means it is officially silly season. The rumour mill started spinning the moment the announcement went up, and the names being thrown around are genuinely absurd. Before we go any further: none of the artists below are confirmed. Nobody has announced anything. This is speculation, wishlisting and pattern-reading, and we will post the real lineup the day it drops.
But if even half of these names land, 2027 will be the strongest edition Lolla India has ever put on. So here is your homework, one artist at a time, with one song each to get you ready.
The global names
Red Hot Chili Peppers. The rumour that will not die. If it is real, it is the biggest rock booking in Indian festival history. Start with Can't Stop and work backwards through 40 years.
Tame Impala. Kevin Parker live is a different animal to Kevin Parker on your headphones. The Less I Know the Better in an open field turns 80,000 phone lights on.
Justice. The French duo that picked up the blueprint Daft Punk left behind. Their live set is church. D.A.N.C.E. is the entry point.
Doechii. The swamp princess, and on current form the most exciting rapper working. Anxiety was everywhere this year for a reason.
Skepta. Grime's biggest export. Shutdown with a crowd that knows every word is a riot in the best way.
Zara Larsson. The pop slot. You know more of her songs than you think you do, starting with Lush Life.
Tems. That voice over festival speakers at dusk. Raindance has been the moment of every set she has played this year.
The Kid LAROI. STAY will be the biggest singalong of the weekend, guaranteed.
Men I Trust. Montreal's smoothest export. Show Me How at sunset will be somebody's core memory.
Jeremy Zucker. Soft hours. comethru is the couples slot, and it will be packed.
The home team
Seedhe Maut. We have been saying it all year: Delhi's finest belong on this stage. Namastute live means the biggest mosh pit of the weekend.
Anuv Jain. Husn at golden hour writes itself. Bring someone you like.
Peter Cat Recording Co. India's best band, and Paris already agrees. If they play, be there early.
Twin Strings. Delhi indie-pop that has quietly built one of the most loyal audiences in the country. Dhalti Rahe is the one.
Darzi. Indian bass music is having a moment and Darzi is a big part of why. Phasa live would be a problem, in a good way.
Indian Ocean. The institution. Thirty years of fusion rock that shaped everything after it. If Bandeh happens at Lolla, it is the most important booking on the poster.
The fine print, again
Nothing above is confirmed. Lolla India has announced the 2027 edition, not the lineup. Treat everything else as the rumour it is, keep your notifications on, and we will see you in the pit either way.
