Anderson .Paak and Cordae release their first full collaborative album, Heavy Is The Crown, today, 23 October 2026. It arrives through APESHIT, Mass Appeal and EMPIRE, and it is a short, tight record: 11 songs.
This is an Album Guide, not a review. Here is what we can say about it from the release itself.
The tracklist
According to the Apple Music listing, the album runs:
- "58th Floor"
- "Airbender"
- "I'm On"
- "A Good Day"
- "You're Mine"
- "Days Go By"
- "Crown"
- "Days Like This"
- "Karma Tax"
- "Helpless"
- "Godfather II"
Every track is credited to Anderson .Paak & Cordae on the listing.
Who is on it
When the album was announced in August, J. Cole, 9th Wonder, Conductor Williams and Swizz Beatz were named among the collaborators. We have not yet seen official credits that say who guests and who produces which song, so we are not assigning roles until those are published.
The pairing
Anderson .Paak is the Oxnard, California singer, drummer and rapper behind Malibu and Ventura. Cordae is the Maryland rapper who broke through with The Lost Boy in 2019, an album on which .Paak appeared on "RNP". The two have kept working together since, including on "Two Tens" and "Summer Drop", so a full-length was a natural next step.
The physical editions
The album has a heavy physical push: six retailer-exclusive vinyl variants, a zoetrope edition with animated vinyl sold direct to fans, a cassette, and a CD with a lenticular cover.
