Amyl and the Sniffers are coming home for the summer. The Melbourne punk band have announced four Australian headline shows for late February and early March 2027, and one of them is a sunset set on Bondi Beach.
If you are new to them: Amyl and the Sniffers are a four-piece fronted by Amy Taylor, loud, funny and fast, and one of the biggest Australian rock exports of the last few years. Home shows at this scale are rare, which is what makes this run worth noting.
The dates
- Friday 26 February 2027, Brisbane: On The Banks, with WAAX and Southeast Desert Metal.
- Sunday 28 February 2027, Fremantle: Palace Foreshore, with GRUB and Southeast Desert Metal.
- Thursday 4 March 2027, Sydney: Golden Hour at Bondi Beach, with BARKAA and Xiao Xiao.
- Sunday 7 March 2027, St Kilda: Palace Foreshore, with Spike Fuck and Techno 666.
Golden Hour is the sunset concert series on Sydney's most famous stretch of sand, which launched in February 2026 with Crowded House. The Bondi night is the one to watch, and the support slots there go to BARKAA and Xiao Xiao.
Tickets
Brisbane, Fremantle and St Kilda have a venue presale on Wednesday 14 October 2026 at 9am local time, with general sale on Friday 16 October at 9am. Sydney's promoter presale runs from Wednesday 21 October, and general sale opens at noon AEDT on Thursday 22 October 2026. Prices were not listed in the announcement we checked. Listings and links are on the band's shows page.
The shows also raise money for charity: $5 from every ticket sold goes to a charitable cause, and an extra $1 from each Sydney ticket goes to the Bondi and North Bondi Surf Life Saving Clubs.
