Carl Terrell Mitchell (born November 27, 1973), known professionally as Twista and formerly as Tung Twista, is an American rapper recognized for his rapid-fire delivery, often categorized under the chopper style of rap. In 1992, he was listed in the Guinness World Records as the fastest English-speaking rapper, having pronounced 598 syllables in 55 seconds. Twista gained broader attention in 1997 following his appearance on Do or Die's single "Po Pimp", which was produced by the Legendary Traxster.
