Artist
Philip Brooks
Alternative
Growing up in a conservative 800-soul village, Philip struggled to find connection to their same-aged peers. Spending most of their childhood alone on a computer, they stumbled across music recording software at age 13 and began making songs. In 2017 Philip and friend Edwin Rosen went on a road trip along the west-coast of France. The longing back to it, as the remaining summer rushes by in a haze, bringing months of winter-depression closer, inspired debut-single "honey let's just drive".
